Thanks for visiting the official website of the Fairbury Apostolic Christian Church. We are a Bible-based body of believers with a desire to follow God's teachings and to glorify Him in our lives. We are part of the Apostolic Christian Church of America, serving the central Illinois area. Our mission is to teach the gospel, nurture the believer, preserve sound doctrine and to serve others in humility and love.

Announcements
- If there are any changes to the dinner list, please let Sis. Dawn Meiss know by October 9 (new additions will not serve until spring of 2028).
- October collection is for the Bible Distribution Fund (of HarvestCall). Checks should be made out to Fairbury Apostolic Christian Church and please put Bible Distribution Fund on the memo line.
- The Silver Lining is again offering the opportunity for readers to share - click here for more details: Silver Lining reader contribution - "Learning Contentment" (submissions due by November 16, 2026).
- Gateway Woods is observing their 50th Anniversary. All are welcome to attend the occasion in Leo on October 10 (Click here to view the invitation).
- The Over 45 Potluck is next Sunday, October 11.
- On Sunday, October 18, Fairbury is going to be hosting an Illinois potluck. This is an annual event where guests from all the Illinois congregations are invited for services, followed by a time of fellowship after church, a potluck meal and singing. There is a need for Fairbury couples/singles/families to host guests after church for a light snack and/or help with the potluck meal. If you’d be interested in helping and participating that day, or have any questions, please reach out to Kara Blunier, Amy Hartman, or Ronda Stoller.
- A high school mission trip to Sunset Gap, TN, is being planned for next summer. An informational meeting will be held after services on Wednesday evening, October 28, in the Sunday School.
- The Fairbury church is invited to the wedding reception of Bro. Bryce Teubel and Sis. Sarah Walder on Sunday, November 15th from 2 to 4:30pm eastern time (1 hour ahead of IL time). Please RSVP by October 30.
- Registration is open for the 2026 Apologetics Conference to be held at Bluffton North on Saturday, November 14th. This year's theme is "Shining as Lights in a Secular Age"
